For Artists

It can be hard to be creative in today’s world when every practice seems to be seen through the lens of how it can be monetized and turned into some sort of hustle. Capitalism is not so great for creative expression, and neither is shame and feeling like you always have to cater to some unseen audience. Perhaps you have been blocked or have been procrastinating (I have been there). Perhaps every time you think about pursuing your art something else comes up that you have to attend to. Perhaps you don’t feel your creative practice is worth spending time on, especially if it doesn’t make you money or yield immediate measurable results.

My hope is to help you get back into the mindful flow of your creative practice and stay grounded in the process and ritual of creative expression, rather than getting mired in the capitalist expectation of a perfect product. I can help you combat feelings of unworthiness and imposter syndrome so that you can get back to doing what you love and actually loving it.
